NAD+

Pharmacological properties

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, pen-injector. NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in the mitochondrial electron transport chain, improves energy metabolism, has an antioxidant effect, and can positively influence cognitive functions, physical endurance, and reduce symptoms of chronic fatigue.

Composition

1 pen-injector (2.5 ml) contains:

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to NAD+ or excipients

Pregnancy and lactation (due to lack of sufficient clinical data)

Children under 18 years old (due to lack of clinical recommendations)

Administration and Dosage

Method of administration: subcutaneously

Before the first injection, make sure to dial 20 units on the pen-injector and push the plunger to the 0 mark until the first drop of the medication appears. If necessary, if no drop appears, repeat the procedure.

Rotate injection sites:
abdomen, shoulder, thigh, buttock.
If well tolerated and previously administered, doses of 22.5-25 Units - 0.225-0.25 ml (45-50 mg) may be administered from day 1.
Rate of administration:
30–60 sec/0.1 ml
Maximum permissible dose
50 Units 100 mg under medical supervision
One pen lasts for approximately 5 weeks

Possible adverse reactions

Local:
Erythema, itching, induration
Systemic:
Headache, dizziness, dyspepsia

Should severe reactions occur, discontinue therapy and provide symptomatic treatment

Special instructions

Gradually titrate the dose.

In case of adverse reactions, adjust the dose or temporarily discontinue use.

Once opened, store the vial at 2–8°C and use within one month.

Do not mix with other medicinal products in the same syringe.

Shelf life

The shelf life of MOTS-c is 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored at 2–8°C and protected from light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
