Pharmacological properties
NAD+ (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) 500 mg / 2.5 ml
NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in the mitochondrial electron transport chain, improves energy metabolism, has an antioxidant effect, and can positively influence cognitive functions, physical endurance, and reduce symptoms of chronic fatigue. Benefits: increases NAD+ levels in cells, providing a rapid energy effect and antioxidant support.
Composition
1 vial (2.5 ml) contains:
Indications for use
Asthenic conditions after acute and chronic illnesses
Neurodegenerative diseases (as an adjunctive therapy)
Support during increased physical and psycho-emotional stress
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to NAD+ or excipients;
Pregnancy and lactation (due to insufficient clinical data)
Children under 18 years (without clinical recommendations)
Biological Functions of NAD+
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) performs critically important functions in human cell metabolism. The main biological functions of this coenzyme are listed below:
NAD+ converts nutrients into cellular energy (ATP):
NAD+ participates in the Krebs cycle and the electron transport chain, ensuring the production of energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
NAD+ activates longevity proteins (SIRT1–SIRT7):
NAD+ is a cofactor for sirtuins — proteins that regulate aging, inflammation, and metabolism.
NAD+ repairs DNA via PARP enzymes:
NAD+ activates poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase enzymes, which repair damaged DNA.
NAD+ reduces inflammatory processes:
NAD+ modulates immune response signaling pathways, lowering chronic inflammation levels.
NAD+ is a neuroprotector and supports cognitive functions:
NAD+ helps maintain mitochondrial function in neurons, which improves memory and concentration.
