Biopatid Pen — Injection Pen

Directions for use and dosage

The drug is administered subcutaneously into the abdomen, once a week, on the same day. Before the first injection, it is essential to dial 20 units on the pen-injector and push the plunger to the '0' mark until the first drop of the drug appears. If necessary, and if no drop appears, repeat the procedure.

Mechanism of Action

Biopatid is a dual agonist of GIP and GLP-1 receptors, which play a key role in metabolic regulation by reducing appetite, improving insulin sensitivity, slowing gastric emptying, and stabilizing glucose levels.
